Andre Sumera opened the doors of Visage International School of Hair in September 2001 on Kingsway in Burnaby, BC.  Prior to this Andre owned Andre International School of Hair that operated on Commercial Drive, Vancouver since 1989.

The school opened with two programs, Barbering and Hairdressing.  The school continues to thrive as a training salon/school and is reputedly the only private training school in British Columbia that offers Barber training.
